The 1950s were a golden era for Abilene High School football. Coached by Chuck Moser, the Eagles achieved an unprecedented 49-game winning streak from 1954 to 1957. During this period, they clinched three consecutive state titles from 1954 through 1956. The team’s dominance was evident, as they led by at least 20 points at halftime in 36 out of the 49 games.
